Ford is a brand on the move around the world. New products, better technology, better value and better designs are key to their steady growth as one of the world's leading auto manufacturers.
Rangers lead the way
The last all-new pick up truck to arrive was the Nissan Navara. Now Ford is out to change the market with the arrival (finally) of the Ranger.
The new global Ranger, produced at Ford's plant in Rayong, Thailand, showcases new features, an entirely new look, high levels of comfort and safety than its predecessor model. At the center of the Ranger is a new range of Duratorq 2.2 liter engines with 150 horsepower and 375 newton meters of torque.
The Ranger was designed around a “21st Century Tough” philosophy, giving the new pick up a very modern look and feel both inside and out. The Ranger will be offered in a double cab body style with high levels of space and carrying capability... up to 1400 kilograms.
Other significant features include a wading capability up to 800 millimeters deep, Bluetooth Voice Control with iPod and USB connectivity, and improved safety.

Ford Explorer Ecoboost
The all new Explorer arrived late last year, giving Philippine customers a taste of the future of the Ford brand. For the 2012 Manila International Auto Show, Ford gives us the new Explorer GTDi XLT, the first Ecoboost vehicle that Ford has brought in.
“The All-New Explorer is fast-becoming one of our strongest vehicles in the Ford portfolio, and we are eager to sustain the momentum” said Randy Krieger, president, Ford Group Philippines. “The success of this vehicle is further evidence we are delivering products that people want and value”.
The 2.0L Explorer GTDi XLT with EcoBoost will expand customer choice for the popular Explorer. Combining direct injection of gasoline and turbocharging, the Explorer's new, more advanced EcoBoost engine delivers performance comparable to normally aspirated competitive V6 engines with up to 240 horsepower and 366Nm of torque, all while maintaining fuel economy of a 4-cylinder engine.
The new Explorer EcoBoost also arrives with an updated version of Ford's Sync system, class-leading features, high-end styling and superior safety including the world's first inflatable rear seatbelts.
The new Ford Explorer EcoBoost GTDi XLT is priced at PhP 2,250,000.
