Oct 21 launch in Thailand featured 2 engine options
Following the global debut of the 2014 Nissan Teana in March 2013, Thailand witnessed yesterday the car’s ASEAN region launch.
The 2014 Nissan Teana comes in 2 engine options: the 2.0-liter engine capable of 136 PS and 190 Nm, and the 2.5 liter-engine capable of 173 PS and 234 Nm. It measures 4,875 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, and 1,490 mm tall. It comes with disc brakes, MacPherson Strut for the front suspension, and multilink independent suspension in the rear.
The new car features Nissan’s global design and engineering expertise. It is also the first car in Thailand to feature the Around View Monitor derived from the Intelligent Transport System. The system provides the driver better awareness through its Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, and Moving Object Detection.
"The two previous generations of Teana were recognized for their performance, design and comfort over the past decade and won numerous accolades in Thailand. I am confident that this all-new Teana will again be welcomed by many Thai customers," said Takayuki Kimura, Nissan regional vice president.
