The wait is over as Hyundai unveiled the new Sonata

Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the 2015 Sonata in South Korea. The Korean automaker says the new Sonata represents the practical application of premium Hyundai Motor technologies. Moreover Hyundai says the new Sonata is enhanced with class-leading features and is designed using the automaker’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ philosophy.

Hyundai says Sonata’s design concept focuses on ‘Inner Force’, a theme that showcases its evolved aesthetic and confident perfection. It showcases Hyundai Motor’s sleek exterior and intuitive interior design. It has a 3D hexagonal grill and equipped with LED daytime running lights. The new model is 35 mm longer and 30 mm wider than the previous Sonata.

The interior of the 2015 Hyundai Sonata

The 2015 Hyundai Sonata has advanced suspension design and has safety features such as blind spot detection, lane departure warning system, and advanced smart cruise control. It also features a rear parking sensors, heated leather seats, rear-side curtain airbags, advanced multimedia system, and an infotainment equipment.

The new Sonata will have three engine options: (1) 2.0 CVVL engine that can deliver 168PS with 201Nm of torque; (2) 2.0 LPi that can produce 151 PS with 194Nm of torque; and (3) 2.4 GDi that is capable of 193PS with 247Nm of torque.
