The 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR has made its reveal and is dubbed it as the "most dynamically focused Land Rover vehicle ever produced."
Designed, engineered and built in Britain, the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR showcases the robustness and the company's attention to detail. The vehicle has an all-aluminum unibody with a 39-percent weight reduction compared to its predecessor.
The front bumper of the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR is infused with trapezoidal air intakes. It also features restyled vents and a new grill in a dark finish that contrasts with the LED headlights. Moreover, the hood of the vehicle is incorporated with a dark Range Rover script. The side of the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR features an all-new fender with distinctively designed vent.
At the rear, the spoiler of the vehicle, which the automaker says reduces lift, comes with a centrally mounted brake light. The rear bumper features a gloss black diffuser that incorporates quad exhaust pipes.
Inside, the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR is equipped with distinctive leather sports seats that offers additional lateral support during spirited driving. Land Rover says the seats are finished in Oxford leather with quilted centers, Ebony Black top stitching, reflective piping and has the Range Rover Sport SVR logo. Aluminum interior trim details comes as standard with optional carbon fiber trim for the door panels, center console, dashboard and steering wheel bezel.
The vehicle is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that delivers 558 PS with 680 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive chassis. The 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR can accelerate from 0-97 km/h in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 261 km/h. With this, the vehicle recorded a lap time of 8 minutes and 14 seconds at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
