Chevrolet will hold the premiere of the 2016 Camaro during a long-day celebration
It's official, Chevrolet will be revealing the sixth-generation Camaro come May 16, 2015 in Detroit, Michigan. The 'bow-tie' brand will be unveiling the all-new muscle car during a long-day celebration on Belle Isle, a 397 hectare park that is home to the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix circuit.
At the event, the automaker will be hosting several events like hot lap rides around Belle Isle aboard a 2015 Camaro Z/28 and a meet and greet opportunity with Camaro designers and engineers. Beyond that, Chevrolet will also display a 'Camaro Museum' and a Camaro-only parking venue for those that will bring their own Camaro at the event.
“This will be an event Camaro fans will not want to miss. This is only the sixth time we have introduced an all-new Camaro. We wanted to share the moment with the customers and fans who have helped make Camaro both America’s favorite performance car for the past five years, and a cultural icon since 1967,” said Todd Christensen, Camaro Marketing Manager.
