Refreshed 2017 Honda City gains Civic-inspired looks
The GM6 Honda City has been in the local market since 2014 and has received a mild update via a new Garmin Navi infotainment system last June 2015. For 2017 however, Honda will soon roll out the redesigned B-segment sedan.
Honda Thailand recently released a teaser for the 2017 Honda City, revealing a redesigned exterior. Compared to the current model, the refreshed City takes styling cues from the all-new FC Civic.
The teaser shows a chrome strip on the top edge of the headlight cluster as well as L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) similar to the 2016 Honda Civic. The Solid Wing Face grill, on the other hand, also gets the similar treatment and appears slimmer than before. Other than that, a new set of alloy wheels may also likely debut on the 2017 City, along with what looks to be tweaked taillights.
Details about its interior remain a mystery however.
It is highly likely that the 2017 Honda City will be revealed in Thailand in Q1 or Q2 of next year.
