5th Philippine International Motor Show offers activities for the whole family image

Will feature games, pedal go-karts and more

The 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) will feature various activities to keep the whole family entertained along with a one-of-a-kind motoring experience. It will feature games, treasure hunts, pedal go-karts and more.

With the theme of 'Progress in Motion', the 5th PIMS will be held on September 18 to 21 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Aside from the motor show itself, here is the list of activities that PIMS attendess should expect.

Pedal Go-Karts and other Motoring-Inspired Games

The organizers of PIMS says that this year's show “promises to be the most engaging and experiential yet.” Guests can enjoy and have fun in booths such as the Pedal Go-Gart, Pit-Stop Challenge, Fan-Belt Toss and other motoring-inspired activities.

Scale-Model Displays

Local die-cast and scale-model clubs have taken the challenge of creating a miniature motor show featuring the same participating car brands at this year’s PIMS.

This aims to educate visitors with some of the automotive industry’s best designs and game-changing innovations.

Treasure Hunt for Kids

Kids from six to 12 years old can learn more about cars in the most exciting way possible with an automotive-themed Treasure Hunt and Trivia Game.

Aside from the fun-filled activities, the 5th PIMS will highlight the “Latest Tech Innovations and Displays” of the 16 participating car manufacturers which will have brand presentations, showcasing of their latest vehicles and interactive engagement. It will also have the “Progress in Motion” exhibit, a retrospective display featuring 12 iconic vehicles that aims to give visitors a crash course on local motoring history with a line-up of vintage and modern cars from the 1950’s to the present.

After sales pavillion

Adding to the list of activities is the “After-Sales Pavillion” which will feature packages on vehicle upgrades, repair services and quality genuine parts for different vehicle models. Guest can also participate in the “Automotive Seminars and Workshops” that the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) has prepared.

Furthermore, affiliated organizations of the participating car brands will hold club meets during the 5th PIMS. The show will also have a test drive area for all participating car manufacturers.
