To debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show
Maserati has unveiled its latest version of the Quattroporte way ahead of its international debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.
Basing on the photos, Maserati have 'purposely maintained' a lot of the previous model's exterior features like the distinctive front grille, the three side vents, and the triangular C pillar, but made sure to add a little improvement by giving it a more aggressive belt line for a more muscular appearance.
The interior meanwhile is kept simple with functional elements that are blended with soft quality surfaces made of prestigious woods and refined leathers.
The all-new 2013 Quattroporte features a next generation of powertrain developed by both Maserati and Ferrari engineers, and promises that it will be made with passion and state-of-the-art technology giving it a more powerful but even more fuel efficient than before. Although no official figures were given out by Maserati, the photos released gives out hints that it could be powered by a 530hp V8 engine.
“Maserati stands today at the edge of an unparalleled strategic and industrial growth that will see our presence in the world rise to 50,000 units a year by 2015. This growth is a challenge for which Maserati has carefully prepared itself and that we all welcome with anticipation." says Harald Wester, Maserati CEO
