Powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC VVT engine

Suzuki introduced the Alivio, a SX4-based sedan concept, at the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.

The sedan concept measures 4,545 mm long, 1,730 mm wide and 1,475 mm tall. With the following dimensions, the Suzuki Alivio fall under the category of C-segment sedan. The Alivio concept becomes a direct competitor to other C-segment sedan vehicles like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.

The Suzuki Alivio concept is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC VVT inline-four engine that is capable of producing 120 PS at 6,000 rpm and 156 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Suzuki Alivio concept is expected to go on sale in India before the end of 2014.
