D-Segment sedan gets exterior revisions
After unveiling a string of new and revamped models, Lexus will now be giving the IS an update for the 2017 model year. Just before its unveiling next week at the Beijing International Auto Exhibit, Lexus has released a preview photo of what the updated D-Segment sedan will look like.
In the preview photo, it shows a small section of the IS' front corner, detailing few of the changes made to the car. For 2017, the IS gets new LED projector lights with new daytime running lights integrated in the headlight clusters. The photo also shows the re-sculpted bumper, drawing cues from the new LC-Coupe. Lexus says the refreshed IS “will bring exciting breakthroughs based on the Lexus signature L-finesse design philosophy.”
