BF Goodrich marks its local comeback with a new range of tires

American tire manufacturer BF Goodrich is officially back in the Philippines. Along with their local brand launch, BF Goodrich has also introduced a new line of passenger car and SUV tires. The local subsidiary of BF Goodrich is handled by Michelin Philippines.

BFGoodrich is once again demonstrating the innovative cutting edge that makes the company a well-recognised brand in the tire industry with the launch of the new BFGoodrich Advantage T/A® Drive and T/A® SUV tires and the already available off-road BFGoodrich All -Terrain T/A® KO2. These tires are dedicated to make your daily commute and weekend getaways an unconditional pleasure,” said Michael Nunag, Chief Representative of Michelin Philippines.

Kicking off the local BF Goodrich range is the Advantage T/A series. According to the company, it is best suited for city and urban driving and promises a pleasant everyday ride at reasonable prices. Its grooves and design aims to deliver optimum traction in both wet and dry conditions. The BFGoodrich Advantage T/A is specifically developed for sedans.

For those with SUVs that spend more time on the road, there is also the BF Goodrich Advantage T/A SUV tire. Like the tire for passenger cars, BF Goodrich Advantage T/A SUV features an enhanced symmetric tread design with rigid tread blocks and shoulder, as well as “jagged” grooves. Both are built with a strong structure of multiple plies and reinforced at shoulder as well as bead area, boosting durability.

BF Goodrich also released a tire for off-road use. Dubbed the All -Terrain T/A KO2, the company says it was developed through years of their involvement on off-road motorsports. This tire is specifically designed to traverse the harsh conditions, namely gravel, dirt, rock, and mud. It is also the first non-motorsport application of BF Goodrich's CoreGuard technology. CoreGuard is designed to resist sidewall splitting with multiple layers of thick plies.

BF Goodrich tires are now available nationwide.
