The 2015 BMW M5 will be the most powerful yet.
BMW hits a milestone with 30 years of the BMW M5 and to celebrate this they will be releasing the 2015 edition called ‘30 Jahre M5’ and only 300 units will be manufactured.
With 600HP and 700Nm of torque, it will be the most powerful M5 ever produced and will also stand out as the most powerful BMW production model ever to roll out of the plant.
It sports BMW’s 4.4 liter M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine from the M5 with Competition Package but because of increased turbo pressure and engine control module enhancements, it gets an extra 25HP. 0-60mph is 3.7 seconds.
To make it spritelier, a dedicated control module, an M-specific Servotronic function and an improved M Dynamic mode lets the Active M Differential react quicker for improved traction when exiting corners.
It has a Frozen Dark Silver Metallic exterior and black-chromed ’30 Jahre M5’ badges on the kidney grill surrounds, the front fenders, door handles, twin dual exhaust pipes and even in the interior. To indicate its exclusivity, a 1/300 ID number is laid onto the aluminum trace strip on the front passenger side.
Black Alcantara/Leather seat combination with embroidered “30 Jahre M5” badges beckon. The center console and the door panels are also covered in black Alcantara, while the headliner features Alcantara Anthracite.
The whole package sits on 20 inch, bi-color M light-alloy wheels.
