The T-REX three-wheeler gets a limited-run Anniversary Edition
The guys responsible for making the T-REX a reality recently released a limited Anniversary Edition that commemorates the 20th anniversary of the unique nameplate. Called the Anniversary Edition, each unit will feature a two-tone exterior finish along with a bespoke vehicle identification number (VIN).
Limited to only 20 units, each example will bear red accents for the multi-controller and engine cover while the chassis and A-arms will be painted in a glossy impact-resistant powder coat that according to Campagna, will protect the arms from dirt, rain and rust.
Inside, carbon fiber and aluminum was used extensively to reduce overall weight while the seats are wrapped in gray leather and comes with charcoal-colored stitching. The upper portion of the backrests feature an embossed T-REX 20th Anniversary logo.
Providing power is a BMW-sourced 1.6-liter inline-six engine that develops 160 PS at 7,750 rpm and 174 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm. Other performance parts fitted on the limited edition T-REX include a fully-adjustable Stage 5 suspension system and a high performance braking package that consist of a ventilated and cross-drilled discs and steel braided brake lines.
