Chevrolet PH concludes successful Motoroma with 42,000 visitors image

'A place to experience the Chevrolet difference'

The 5th Chevrolet Motorama by the The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCI) proved to be a success after over 42,000 visitors attended the event from October 9-12, 2014 at the SM Mall of Asia Skating Rink. The event was the kick-off of the brand's 3-month long Motoroma sales campaign and showcased the brand's expanding technology and the new vehicle lineup which includes the Spin, Malibu, Colorado and Trailblazer.

The centerpiece of the 5th Chevrolet Motorama was the company's first ever Transform Your Ride: Chevrolet Dealer Build-Off competition that displayed 16 customized Chevy vehicles from 14 Chevrolet dealerships that hailed from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The awards were split into different categories which covered People's Choice award wherein the attendees can vote for their favorite entry, Best in Engine Bay modification, Best in Paint, Best in Body Customs, Best in Sound Set-up and Overall Best in Show as the grand prize.

Besides the current generation cars on sale today, Chevrolet also displayed some of their classic and even historic vehicles. First up was the company's first truck truck which was a 1918 Chevrolet Light Delivery “Cowl Chassis”. Also exhibited during the event was a 1955 Chevrolet Pickup that marked the brand's advancement in design and the All-American Chevrolet Camaro.

Also present during the event were General Motors Southeast Asia Operations top executives that included Tim Zimmerman, President of GM Southeast Asia Operations, Tadashi Wakamatsu, General Director and General Motors Southeast Asia and Chee Sing Cheong, Director for Export and Distributors Operations, General Motors Southeast Asia.
