Partial closure of Roxas Blvd southbound lane from March 1 to 7; in the name of fuel economy
If part of your daily driving routine is getting the most kilometers from what's in your tank, it would be in your best interest to steer clear of Roxas Boulevard.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has released an advisory regarding the rerouting that will be done on the southbound lane of Roxas Blvd from Katigbak Drive to T. M. Kalaw from March 1 to 7, 2016.
Heavy vehicles coming from the Pier area will have to take P. Burgos towards its point of destination.
There will be a counterflow lane on the northbound stretch of Roxas Blvd that will be able to accommodate light vehicles headed south.
The Shell Eco-marathon Asia event takes place from March 3 (Thursday) until March 6 (Sunday).
Over 100 teams from over 15 different countries will participate in the Shell Eco Marathon to determine who among them can design, build and drive the most energy efficient vehicle.
