Range Rover Reborn program kicks off with this restored 1978 Range Rover
Ever wanted a pristine, classic Range Rover that worked and is restored to factory condition? Well, with Land Rover's new Range Rover Reborn program, customers in the United Kingdom can bring their classic Range Rovers to Land Rover Classic and give their car a back-to-factory refresh.
Land Rover Classic will assist clients in choosing the best options for base vehicles to undergo the program. As the Range Rover was first built in 1970 and continued until 1996, most of these vehicles have gone through a rough life. This program allows owners to give their Range Rovers a refresh they need.
Each Range Rover selected would be returned to it's factory-perfect condition according to the company's original 1970 factory specifications. This will be done using authentic Land Rover Classic parts and period correct colors to preserve the authenticity of the vehicle.
The first example of a Range Rover to go under this program will be shown at theSalon Rétromobile in Paris, France. It's a 1978 model refreshed in Bahama Gold with a carbureted 3.5-liter V8 that produces 132 horsepower and 251 Nm of torque mated to a four-speed gear box and a lockable center differential.
Prices for the Range Rover Restoration starts at £135,000 GBP ($169,000 USD) each.
