Ford Announces Price Increase for Ranger and Everest image

Ford Group Philippines recently announced it will adjust the prices of its Ford Ranger and Ford Everest models. Starting August 1, the Ford Ranger XLT 3.0-liter AT will be sold at P1.411 million, the XLT 3.0-liter MT at P1.336 million, the Trekker AT at P1.036 million, and the Trekker MT at P981,000 -- all raising current prices by P10,000. From its current price, the Ford Ranger Base 2.5-liter MT will be available at P790,000.

Meanwhile, the Ford Everest, among the most competitively priced vehicle in its segment, will be sold at P1.625 million for the 3.0-liter 4x4 AT variant, P1.320 million for the 2.0-liter 4x2 AT, and P1.265 million for the 2.5-liter 4x2 MT. The new prices are all P15,000 more than current prices.

Both the Ford Ranger and Ford Everest were hailed the best among their respective segments in the 2007 Car of the Year Awards. Car Awards Group, Inc. declared the Ford Everest 2.5L AT 4X2 the "2007 Executive SUV of the Year" award. It also conferred on Ford Ranger three awards, including the "2007 Pick-up of the Year" for both 4WD and 2WD categories, as well as the "Bridgestone Best Off-road Vehicle" special award.
