Utilizes the Ford's global design concept Brand@Retail
Ford Philippines recently reopened their Tacloban dealership last November 14, 2014 after the devastation brought about by super typhoon Yolanda last November 2013. The dealership owned by Fairlane Automotive Ventures Inc. has been expanded and now also makes use of Ford's global Brand@Retail II design concept that gives the showroom the same universal image and ambience that the brand is known for.
In attendance were key Ford Motor Company figures, including Dave Schoch, President of Ford Asia Pacific; Matt Bradley, President of Ford ASEAN and Kay Hart, Managing Director of Ford Philippines.
“It’s an honor to join our dealer partners in Leyte on this day of celebration for Ford Philippines.In the year since last year’s devastating storm, the Borromeos and their team have demonstrated the commitment of our dealers globally and helped to showcase that Ford truly is a global family,” said Schoch.
It now has a five-vehicle showroom and a six-bay service center. Much like the newly-opened 'mega dealership' in Alabang, the showroom has several amenities for waiting customers while the service center is equipped with the latest tools and tech. Additionally, the service teams and technicians are continually trained to keep them updated with Ford's global technologies, process and standards.
“Serving our customers has been our number one priority, even in the aftermath of typhoon Yolanda. The re-opening of Ford Tacloban and our plan to expand to Ormoc will allow us to welcome and serve our expanding customer base in Leyte,” said André Borromeo, Dealer Principal of Ford Tacloban.
The management team at Ford Tacloban has also stated that they plan to build a new dealership in Ormoc City, Leyte by the second quarter of 2015.
