SsangYong incorporates new design concept in the XLV

SsangYong will reveal its new XLV concept (eXciting smart Lifestyle Vehicle) at the 84th Geneva International Motor Show in March. 

SsangYong says the XLV is a multi-role B-segment SUV concept that has significantly lower  CO2 emmisions because its mild hybrid system that combines a 1.6L diesel engine with an electric motor powered by a lithium ion battery.           

The XLV concept has an 2+2+2+1 seat arrangement which can accommodate up to seven passengers. SsangYong’s XLV has incorporated a new design concept that is the ‘Nature born 3 motion.’ This design concept projects a 'rhythmic' and dynamic exterior design. SsangYong says the design concept of the XLV is set for smart users who is active and seeks individuality and practicality.

The dimensions of the XLV concept are as follows: it has a length of 4, 430 mm; a width of 1, 845 mm; a height of 1,600 mm; and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm.

Details on the XLV’s powertrain are still being withheld by SsangYong.
