Produces 675 PS and 700 Nm of torque

After releasing the first teaser video of the 675LT, McLaren has just released a new clip that shows the rear end design of the car along with some new details about the 675LT's powertrain figures.

The video gives a short glimpse of the car's rear section which features the large "Longtail Airbrake" that provides a 40-percent increase in downforce and the lightweight crossover titanium exhaust system that goes through the bodywork. The exhaust note of the McLaren 675LT can also be heard right before the video ends.

Providing power to the McLaren 675LT is a modified 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that has been tuned to produce 675 PS and 700 Nm of torque available from 5,500 – 6,500 rpm. The engine makes use of lightweight components and new turbochargers.

It will only be available as a coupe and is described by the company as a more track-focused alternative to the 650S Coupe and Spider models.

The McLaren 675LT will be making its world premiere on March 3, 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show.
