Lamborghini Centenario is limited to only 40 units

Lamborghini has revealed its newest supercar dubbed as the Centenario at this year's Geneva International Motor Show. It was made to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini.

Looking at the Centenario, one couldn't help but notice its aggressive exterior styling. Up front, it is fitted with slim headlights, daytime running lights and a mean-looking bumper. Of note, the vehicle is built almost entirely from carbon fiber, achieving an overall weight of 1,520 kg.

The side profile of the vehicle is characterized by sharp lines which adds to the Centenario's overall aggressive styling. Moreover, the vehicle has an extendable rear wing, a diffuser and distinctive taillights.

Inside, the Centenario comes with carbon fiber sports seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen which includes Apple CarPlay. The vehicle also features a built-in telemetry software.

The Centenario is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that churns out 770 PS. With that in mind, Lamborghini said that the Centenario's engine is the company's most powerful unit ever built. The Italian automaker claims that the Centenario could go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. Moreover, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 299 km/h in 23.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 349 km/h.

The Lamborghini Centenario will be limited to 40 units, half of it are coupes while the other half are roadsters. The automaker said that all 40 units have already been sold with a €1.75 million pricetag (before taxes).
