Features minor design tweaks
Subaru has announced that they will debut the 2015 Chinese-spec Outback at the 2014 Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition next week.
The 2015 Outback was first previewed during the 2014 New York International Auto Show equipped with outdoor-oriented engineering that can take on “rough roads, slippery surfaces and steep inclines.”
On the other hand, Subaru China didn't provide detailed information about the Chinese-spec Outback. From the looks of it, the 2015 Chinese-spec Outback is similar to its North American-spec counterpart, but Subaru incorporated minor design tweaks as seen on the turn signals, roof rails, and side door moldings.
Another notable change would be the engines powering the Chinese-spec Outback. In China, the 2015 Outback comes with a 2.0-liter direct injection turbo Boxer engine as well as a 2.5-liter engine. However, Subaru China has not yet released the power output rating of the said engines.
