Hennessey's answer the to the Dodge Challenger Demon

Hennessey Performance in the United States is known for modifying some of the fastest vehicles to date. The American tuning house not only modifies vehicles, but also builds their own vehicles such as the Hennessey Venom GT, one of the fastest vehicles ever.

Given the reputation Hennessey Performance has regarding high horsepower vehicles, it was no surprise that they manage to push out 1,000 horsepower from a Camaro ZL1. Called The Exorcist, Hennessey latest creation makes it clear that the car will be rivaling the Dodge Challenger Demon. On the outside, it looks visually the same as a standard ZL1 with decals. Under the hood however, it is a completely different beast.

The 6.2-liter Cheverolet LT4 V8 has been tuned have an output of 1,000 PS and 1,310 Nm of torque. To push that amount of power, the supercharger has been replaced to a bigger unit along with adding an upgraded intercooler. More aggressive camshafts, ported heads, long-tubed headers and a tuned ECU has also been made; these make sure the engine can handle the larger supercharger. All that combined, Hennessey claims that the Exorcist will do 0-97 km/h in under 3 seconds and have a quarter-mile time of under 10 seconds.
