Honda is geared to develop a range of new sports cars with the second generation NSX, the production version of the S660 concept and the all-new S2000.

Details remain to be unclear whether Honda will push forth the production for S2000, but according to a report by Auto Express, there is a strong chance that the automaker will bring back the S2000.

The exterior design of the Honda S2000 will be similar to the S600 and NSX. It has a similar front fascia, narrow headlights and bold grill.

The Honda S2000 will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is set to debut in the latest Civic Type R.

It will also feature an electric motor that is developed with the McLaren Formula 1 team and will allow the new S200 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds with a fuel economy of around 17 km/l.

The Honda S2000 is expected to go sale in 2017 for about £35,000 (around PhP 2.6 million).
