Jazz subcompact gets aesthetic upgrades, sans new CVT
Honda recently launched an updated version of its Jazz subcompact which features a tweaked front end and paddle shifters for the 1.5-liter variant. The newly improved CVT transmission recently released in other markets was omitted from the Philippine release.
The exterior upgrades are composed of new headlights, more aggressive bumpers for the 1.5-liter variant based on the Fit RS variant from the Japan Domestic Market, and LED tail lights. The dashboard gets a slight re-tune featuring a darker color tone and an amber display for the radio LCD.
Under the hood, remains the same 100-horsepower 1.3-liter VTEC and the 120-horsepower 1.5-liter VTEC powertrains.
In addition to the upgrades, a new Brilliant Orange finish will be offered for the new Honda Jazz; along with its other shades Taffeta White, Crystal Black, Polished Metal and Alabaster Silver. Honda Cars Philippines sets the retail price for the 2011 Jazz 1.5V with automatic transmission at Php857,000; the 1.3S with manual transmission at Php752,000; and the 1.3S with automatic transmission at Php792,000.
