Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc.,(HARI) the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles here in the Philippines launched the facelifted 2013 Hyundai Genesis coupe last weekend at the Lateral Drift Championship held at the Quirino Grandstand.
The 2013 Genesis Coupe, considered by Hyundai as a cross between a luxury sedans and high performance sports car. It boasts of its ample cabin space, impressive dashboard design and top-of-the-line entertainment system. It now has refreshed exterior that makes it look more aggressive such as its HID headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and rear combination tail lamps that all blends into the car's fluidic form.
The Genesis Coupe is powered by a new 2.0-Liter I4 Theta engine with a Twin-Scroll Turbocharger that provides the Genesis Coupe with a pulling power of 260 PS, which is an adrenaline-pumping 50 ps increase from the 210 ps of the previous model. A 3.8-liter V6 Lambda RS engine is also available in the 2013 Genesis Coupe and puts out 303 PS of power.
Gaining the recognition of several award-giving bodies since its launch in 2009, and has been the favorite choice of professional and amateur drifters in the Philippines, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe proves that it can perform and not just a pretty face.
