Will be fully revealed later this month
Just when everyone seemed focused on the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Hyundai released this: the first official rendering of the next generation Sonata.
While just a render, the design of the upcoming Hyundai Sonata showcases the new direction for the brand in terms of design. Of particular note is the latest interpretation of the hexagonal Hyundai grille and the new headlamps. Also of note is the chrome trim that runs from the trailing edge of the highly detailed headlamps and back around the rim of the windows.
There are no official details on engines or features, but Hyundai says the Korean version of the Sonata is scheduled to make its world-premiere later this month. The US-market version will be unveiled in April during the New York International Auto Show, and will replace the current generation Hyundai Sonata that has been around since 2010.
