The wait is over
Well, you asked for it, and here it is: the official specifications and prices of the all new, next generation Hyundai Santa Fe.
2 months ago, we published the pre-launch prices of the all new Santa Fe. It's one of those things that resulted in a few calls from friends, family and industry people regarding the source and authenticity, but now we can officially state the prices and yes, the prices we posted a few months ago remained the same:

If you noticed, instead of the initially reported 3 variants, there are now only just two. Both versions are automatics as Hyundai have opted to not bring in the rumored manual transmission 4x2 model that was supposed to be priced at PhP 1,508,000.
The Santa Fe we are getting is the short wheelbase version, and can seat 7 people (2-3-2). The all new model get's Hyundai's new 'Storm Edge' styling.
The PhP 1.768M GLS 2WD variant comes equipped with fabric seats, a 6-speed automatic transmission, electric power steering, 18-inch wheels, cornering lamps, cruise control, stability control, traction control, ABS, dual airbags, a dual-zone climate control system, a multi-info display, a proximity key, back up sonar and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with an aux port and a USB socket.
The PhP 2.228M GLS Premium 4WD adds 19-inch wheels, curtain and side airbags, automatic wipers, HID headlights, an electronic parking brake, a back up camera, a 4.3” touchscreen audio system (no DVD, though), power adjust front seats, an electrochromic rear view mirror with a compass. Also, it gets a panoramic sunroof.
Unlike the previous generation, there is no V6 gasoline engine option. Official HARI specs put the 2.2L CRDI's power figures at 197 PS and torque at 423 Nm. Unusual, as those figures were intended for the Euro IV/Euro V diesels; local fuels really don't come close. Nevertheless, the engine features an R-eVGT (variable geometry turbo) CRDI system with piezo injectors. The 2WD version is a front-wheel drive model, while the top spec model gets an on demand 4WD system with a lock mode.
