Program will start in February 2016
The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin is offering a new Masters program in Car Interior Design and User Experience.
IED Turin said that the different subjects covered during the program will allow future professionals to “provide innovative solutions, related to the evolving needs of companies and buyers.” The inaugural start of the degree program begins in February 2016 and IED Turin has established a partnership with Jaguar's design team.
The design school said that the program focuses on research and innovation with “an emphasis on practical activities of design.” It will also tackle the layout and use of interior space, as well as traditional materials and latest technologies.
In addition, the school claims its new course “will place the user and the user experience at the heart of the design process, exploring how interior design can influence the exterior.”
The program is open to graduates from any design, architecture, engineering and media design course with a minimum of at least two years of experience.
