Suzuki introduces updated 2015 Ertiga 7-seat MPV
There’s buzz in Indonesia as Suzuki Motor Corporation unveils the new seven-seater Ertiga to the world at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2015.
The new Ertiga’s style has been enhanced for a more sophisticated look that suits an urban lifestyle. It now comes with a new chrome-heavy grille and a reshaped rear bumper.
This seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) comes with improved driving dynamics for better comfort, lower Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) levels and new safety features including a Start/Stop button, automatic folding side mirrors, airbags and 50:50 split folding third row seats.
It will still come with the same 1.4L K-Series (K14B) VVT engine that has been detuned by 3PS and now puts out 92PS and 130Nm of torque. Customers have the option to either get it with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The new Suzuki Ertiga will hit the Indonesian market by September 2015 and will be made available in India not too long after; the Philippines is expected to follow suit.
