Reigning F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel takes the prototype to the track.
The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept, which was revealed at the NAIAS 2014, is pressing forward with its development and getting invaluable information through track-testing from four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel’s involvement is due to the partnership between Red Bull and Infiniti giving the latter ‘has a far-reaching technical collaboration with the Formula One team’.
Footage of the testing at Millbrook Proving Ground automotive testing facility, which can be viewed here, will be shown at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. It shows Vettel putting the Q50 Eau Rouge through ‘a challenging series of performance, handling and precision driving evaluations’. His feedback will provide precious information and data for further development of the prototype.
