More updates, upgrades for Isuzu's best- and long-selling model
At the One Esplanade Event Center in Pasay City, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) together with their president, Mr. Nobuo Izamina launched the 2015 edition of the Isuzu Crosswind; a thorough update aimed at making the long-selling AUV more family-friendly and more attractive to consumers nationwide.
“Form and functionality is what the 2015 Isuzu Crosswind is all about. Given that the Crosswind model is proven capable to stylishly carry not just members of the family but also serve as a reliable cargo carrier for the enterprising few.” said IPC President Nobuo Izumina. “But [we at] Isuzu believe in continuously improving [our] products, so we have decided to give it an upgrade, keep it up to the existing market trends to make our customers’ everyday drive more special.”
The updated 2015 Isuzu Crosswind now gets a fresh front fascia with a new matte silver grille, redesigned headlamps with DRLs, a new lower bumper, new wheel designs and other details. Sportivo X and XUV variants get an aluminum black side step board, while roof rails are standard for Sportivo X, XUV and XT variants for increased cargo carrying capabilities.
Mechanically the Crosswind remains unchanged with the 4JA-1 turbodiesel engine, a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission, the double wishbone front suspension, torsion bar springs up front and the rear FlexRide leaf-springs in the back.
The Crosswind now also receives an updated in-car entertainment system with an in-dash DVD player units. The 2015 model also gets a back up camera, USB, a reverse sensor and other features as standard for the top-spec models.
