Isuzu upgrades its D-Max Pickup image

Taking the local pick-up truck market by storm, the Isuzu D-Max garnered the reputation as the country's fastest selling pick-up, with 100,000 units sold at its belt. Who won't be lured by its macho looks and capable performance? For the next year, expect to be sold further to the 2005 Isuzu D-Max.

Upgrades to the Isuzu D-Max starts from the outside. A roll bar and bed liner now comes as standard, on top of new colors. On the inside, a silver dashboard trimming complements the interior and a premium audio system upgrade is also noticeable. While in motion, Isuzu's innovative Flex Ride system smoothens out all bumps and road uncertainties.

The Isuzu D-Max comes with a 3.0 liter direct injection intercooler turbo diesel power plant with 130 Ps on tap, plus torque figures of 280 Nm for the manual transmission and 294 Nm for the automatic transmission.

Suggested retail prices for the 2005 D-MAX is at PHP 960,000 for the 4x2 manual transmission variant, and PHP 1.095M for the 4x2 automatic transmission. The 4x4 manual and automatic transmission guises have prices of PHP 1.330M and PHP 1.390 M, respectively.
