The new Porsche compact SUV uses Intelligent Performance as key principle
Porsche is setting itself up for the launch of the Macan. The Porsche Macan microsite counts down to its launch due in 40 days.
“Build a compact SUV? No, we’d rather think outside the box.” But the Macan is indeed a compact SUV as its description states. That line might have been meant to highlight the integration of sports car performance and capabilities into such vehicle. The site adds ‘Intelligent Performance’ is Porsche’s key principle in building the Macan.
Looking like a smaller version of the Porsche Cayenne, the Macan will feature 5 doors, 5 seats, and an all-wheel-drive system.
Anticipation builds up as the Porsche Macan will debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show in November while its arrival in the Philippines is due next year.
