Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio features distinctive Italian design
Alfa Romeo has detailed the Giulia Quadrifoglio at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. According to the automaker, the vehicle is “created with the mechanics of emotion” that combines “Italian style with benchmark-level performance and precision.”
Up front, the 2017 Giulia Quadrifoglio is fitted with a large signature 'shield' grill, sharp-looking bi-xenon projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and an active aero splitter which manages downforce for higher stability and better cornering according to Alfa Romeo.
The rear of the vehicle comes with sweptback taillights, a trunk-mounted spoiler, a large bumper and a diffuser. It also has a dual-mode exhaust and a shark fin antenna. The Giulia Quadrifoglio is finished off with a set of 19-inch forged alloy wheels.
Inside, the 2017 Giulia Quadrifoglio features a driver-focused cabin as well as carbon fiber and aluminum trims. Alfa Romeo says the interior is wrapped in ultra-premium leather and Alcantara. It also has a Formula 1-inspired steering wheel, sport seats, 7-inch driver information display and 8.8-inch widescreen display placed at the center.
The 2017 Giulia Quadrifoglio is powered by a Ferrari-derived 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 512 PS at 6500rpm and 600 Nm of torque between 2500 to 5500rpm. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes as standard while all-wheel drive will be optional. Alfa Romeo claims that the vehicle can go from 0 to 97 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
