The fully restyled Mazda3 delivers a fresh appearance, improved performance and premium refinements to the compact car segment in the country. It is updated with a host of new and advanced features and will be available in 3 variants – a 1.6L hatchback, 1.6L sedan and a 2.0L sedan.

Since its first debut in October 2003, the Mazda3 has become a core model in Mazda’s lineup, selling over two million units worldwide and currently comprising over a third of its annual global sales. The next generation Mazda3 inherits and evolves Mazda’s highly acclaimed sporty performance and exterior styling.

“In planning for the All-New Mazda3, the development team reaffirmed that the standard bearer of the Mazda brand must offer both exhilarating driving and appealing design in addition to exceptional fuel economy. This awareness helped us set a clearly defined goal to refine Zoom-Zoom driving pleasure — the essence of the Mazda brand. Our aim was to provide a sense of driving pleasure that fills its owner with pride, rather than settle for merely improving on the Mazda3’s impressive fuel economy and performance figures,” said Kenichiro Saruwatari, Mazda3 Programme Manager.
