Could this upcoming new concept foreshadow a CX-4?
Mazda has just announced that they will reveal the Mazda Koeru, a new crossover SUV concept, at the Frankfurt Auto Show (IAA) later this year. Mazda says that the Koeru makes a bold statement in an increasingly popular and competitive segment.
Koeru, Japanese for “exceed” or “go beyond”, is a fitting name for Mazda’s latest venture into the growing crossover SUV market. The company states that they are looking to surpass existing standards and raise the bar for performance, efficiency and overall value.
The Mazda Koeru uses the latest interpretation of the brand's Kodo Soul of Motion design language, and is set to feature the full SkyActiv technology suite for efficient and improved driving dynamics.
The Koeru will be the main draw to the Mazda booth at the Frankfurt Auto Show when it opens in mid September.
