McLaren puts 50 years of experience in building supercars into the 650S
McLaren Automotive has released a teaser photo confirming that they will unveil the McLaren 650S, a new supercar, at the 84th International Geneva Motor Show on March 4, 2014.
Aside from the image and the name, very little detail have been made available by McLaren as the company is keeping everything in suspense until the big day.
The new McLaren will be based on and inspired by learnings from the 12C and the P1 combined as the new 650S will slot right in the middle of the two supercars. Speculation is that the name stands for the vehicle's power output from McLaren's twin-turbo 3.8L V8 engine.
McLaren says the 650S is "designed and developed to offer the enthusiast driver the ultimate in luxury, engagement and excitement, as well as dramatic yet beautiful styling."
