Mercedes-Benz showcased its long tradition of history and innovation at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance with a display of vintage and modern coupes.
Among the car display of the German automaker, of note is the one-off 540K Streamliner coupe. It is a vehicle dating from 1938 and has undergone extensive restoration and reconstruction.
Mercedes-Benz says the one-off 540K Streamliner is developed in a wind tunnel developed lightweight aluminum bodyshell and features a powerful supercharged engine designed for high-speed long distance travel.
Other Mercedes-Benz vehicles on display are the 2015 S65 AMG Coupe, the automaker's Concept Coupe SUV and the race cars from the 1914 French Grand Prix.
