Redesigned for the modern executive
CATS Motors, the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Philippines, recently held their second launch in July by revealing the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class at a grand (rocking) party at the Rockwell Tent last night. The event was attended by CATS Motors executives, Mercedes-Benz regional executives, clients, VIPs and members of the press.
The redesigned E-Class gets a redesigned exterior, especially with regards to the front fascia. Mercedes-Benz designers gave the E-Class a more athletic front end. The one-piece headlamps (the previous W212 had split headlamps) feature dual LED strips to give the E-Class more character on the road, as well as details that lend it a more dynamic look. The rear end has been updated as well with new taillamps and a new bumper.
The interior has been updated as well, with the new steering wheel and a new dashboard design and trim pieces. Mercedes worked to improve wind noise heard in the cabin with better 'aeroacoustics'.
Mercedes-Benz also equipped all local E-Class variants with new technologies like Eco Start/Stop, an Intelligent Lighting System, COMAND APS, PRE-SAFE, among others. At the launch, the E300 AMG Sport V6 as well as the E 250 CDI diesel were revealed.
CATS Motors also announced the future launches of other E-Class variants such as the Estate (wagon), Coupe, Cabriolet and the powerful E 63 AMG. The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available at CATS Motors dealerships in the following variants:
Mercedes-Benz E 250 CDI Avantgarde PhP 5,380,000
Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Sport PhP 5,680,000
