British United Automobiles, Inc., the official distributor of MINI cars in Philippines, just unveiled a refreshed line up of MINI models sporting a list of design improvements and upgrades.

"We're thrilled to introduce the new MINI model family to the Philippines and are certain that it will be well-loved by our fellow Filipinos," said Mr. Willy Tee Ten, Chairman of British United Automobiles. "Known for its distinctively fun personality, the MINI brand continues to strike a chord in the hearts of those who enjoy its unique 'go-kart' handling."

The design of the MINI, MINI Clubman and the MINI Convertible accurately showcases the three models' enhanced sporting potentials. A new geometry for the front bumper allows them to meet increasingly stringent pedestrian protection requirements, while the other new details merge in subtly with the overall appearance of the new models.

In terms of interior and equipment, the new line up boasts a further increase in build quality and refined style. The selection of seat upholstery variants, trim elements and colour lines has been updated and expanded. The range of exterior paint finishes and wheel designs also set new trends.

John Cooper Works, on the other hand, being the elite sporting machine, launched under its badge the extremely sporty MINI John Cooper Works, MINI John Cooper Works Clubman and MINI John Cooper Works Convertible models. The JCW line gets new interior variants with eye-catching colour combinations

Apart from the design tweaks and adjustments, the entire range of MINIs inclide extensively upgraded petrol engines. The four-cylinder units stand out with their greater pulling power, efficiency and smoothness--qualities developed on the back of the BMW Group's outstanding expertise in the field of engine development.
