Exterior and interior enhancements given to latest refresh of Strada pickup
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Philippines (MMPC) is introducing exterior and interior enhancements to the 2014 Strada GLS Sport V four wheel drive (4WD) variants. MMPC says accessories were also added to make the vehicle more sporty and rugged while keeping its versatility.
The front fascia of the vehicle features a chrome radiator grille and a silver painted bumper. It has a redesigned projector type halogen headlamps, front fog lamps and optional Ralliart front skid plate. A lower body tattoo has been added to give finishing touches on the exterior. An optional electronic-dual lift type cargo bed cover is also avialable.
Inside, the Strada GLS Sport V is equipped with a fully-integrated vehicle information and mutimedia entertainment system with GPS navigation.
MMPC says the vehicle offers all the occupants an improved all-around collision protection. Mitsubishi’s exclusive Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body construction incorporates front and rear crumple zones with reinforced beams to absorb collision force and direct it away from the vehicle's interior.
Under the hood, is a high-output 4D56 2.5 liter DOHC 16-valve common rail direct injection diesel with Variable Geometry Turbocharger and Intercooler that can deliver 178 PS with 400 Nm of torque for the manual transmission and 350 Nm for the 5-speed automatic variant.
The Strada GLS Sport V is available in seven colors: Gemstone Grey Mica, Cool Silver, Rosita Red, Mystic Blue, Virgil Gray, Polar White and Pyrenese Black. Suggested retail price for the manual transmission is PHP 1,280,000 while the top of the line automatic transmission is PHP 1,380,000.
