In relation to global Takata inflator campaign

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has issued a safety bulletin under the directive of its mother company, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. The safety inspection campaign covers previous generation Strada and L200 models (2007 to 2014), in relation to the global recall of Takata.

For this campaign, the part in question is the airbag inflator which has affected an estimated 85 million cars worldwide. To check if the airbag is part of Takata's global bulletin, visit Mitsubishi Philippines' dedicated website regarding the matter. In the website, owners simply have to enter their pickup's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to see if they have the faulty part.

If the Strada or L200 is equipped with the affected airbag inflator, MMPC urges owners to schedule an appointment with their preferred Mitsubishi dealer of choice. The inspection and/or replacement of the affected airbag inflator is estimated to take one hour at the most. This service will also be shall be free of charge.
