Mac & Paul Towing & Trucking Services along with MCT Towing Services had their services revoked
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) recently announced that they have revoked the accreditation of two towing companies while four others were suspended as they were involved in illegal towing activities.
“The operations of these accredited towing companies are being closely monitored by our agency to ensure that the public is protected from any kind of abuse,” said MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino.
Those that had their towing license revoked were Mac & Paul Towing & Trucking Services and MCT Towing Services. The exact reason/s behind their abolition were not revealed by MMDA.
Slapped with a 30-day suspension was JARZ Towing Services after they were found violating towing guidelines, making threats and coercions. ARD Towing Company on the other hand got a 15-day suspension for illegal towing, harassment and threat.
The last two towing companies are Metal Gear Towing Services and Fighter Towing Services who each got a 10- and 5-day suspension respectively due to illegal towing, imprudence/negligent acts.
