The MMDA, along with local government agencies in Metro Manila, kicks off Oplan Kaluluwa to maintain order during Undas 2013.
MMDA’s Agila 1 and Agila 2 mobile command centers along with 2,241 MMDA personnel will be deployed by the agency to traffic-vulnerable areas during All Saint’s and All Soul’s Day.
Traffic constables will be highly visible near bus terminals, Dangwa flower market and cities with a high number of large cemeteries to provide assistance to people going to and coming from cemeteries.
Sidewalks will be cleared of any form of obstruction to keep as many pedestrians off the street and improve both foot and vehicular traffic.
Public assistance centers with ambulances will be set up in cemeteries with extremely high volume of people to provide emergency medical aid.
They will also help out in maintaining the cleanliness on the street and even inside the cemeteries.
Oplan Kaluluwa starts October 25 until November 4.
