BMW 2 Series Coupe kicks off with the M235i

BMW also revealed the M235i at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. The M235i is part of BMW’s new model series - the 2 Series Coupe.

The look of the new M235i shows the characteristics of the new BMW 2 Series Coupe. With its two-door, three-box body with clearly defined trunk, low-slung silhouette, long hood, doors with frameless windows and a dynamically stretched roofline flowing smoothly into the tail shows the design concept of the BMW 2 Series Coupe.

The BMW M235i features M-specific chassis tuning, M Adaptive suspension, M Sport Braking System, variable sport steering, and Michelin Pilot Super Sports tires. The M235i is also equipped with BMW EfficientDynamics technology which includes Air Curtains and the Auto Start/Stop function. It also has a selection of optional driver assistance systems and mobility services from the BMW ConnectedDrive which includes, High Beam Assistance, Adaptive Headlights, Parking Assistant, rear view camera, Driving Assistant, cruise control system, and Advance Real Time Traffic Information (ARTTI).

The power of the M235i is generated by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with M Performance TwinPower technology delivering up to 326 ps and more than 450 Newton-meters of torque. BMW says the M235i can reach 97 km/h in 4.8 seconds with the eight-speed sport automatic transmission and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
