Chevrolet gave showgoers at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit at treat by revealing the Corvette Z06 Convertible with the Aero package.
The Corvette Z06 Convertible is built on a rigid aluminum frame structure featuring blacked out headlights integrated with LED daytime running lights, front splitter, mesh grill and ventilated carbon-fiber hood. The rear of the Z06 is fitted with distinctive taillights, spoiler and large bumper.
As an added feature, the Z06 can be fitted with an optional carbon-fiber aero package which can be finished in either carbon flash paint or a visible carbon-fiber finish. The aero package includes carbon-fiber front splitter, rocker panels and a larger rear spoiler.
Inside Chevrolet says the Z06 Convertible has a “driver-focused” cockpit along with a flat-bottomed steering wheel.
