Desgined to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 Targa
Porsche has revealed the 911 Targa 4 GTS at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
Designed to mark the 50th anniversary of the 911 Targa, Porsche says the vehicle is packed with more power. The sporty front design of the 911 Targa 4 GTS is equipped with blacked out headlights that feature the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). It also has large air intakes and an optimized front spoiler.
The rear of the 911 Targa 4 GTS features thin LED taillights along with a huge bumper and twin sports exhaust system finished in chrome. The vehicle sits on a gloss black 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
Inside, it is fitted with black Alcantara upholstery as seen on the seats and the steering wheel. Moreover, the vehicle comes with four-way adjustable Sport Plus seats.
Powering the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS is a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 436 PS and 440 Nm of torque. It can go from 0-97 km/h in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 299 km/h.
