R-Line package provides a slightly sportier look for 2018 Volkswagen Atlas

Volkswagen recently revealed its new special R-Line package for the 2018 Atlas at this year's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

Back in October, the all-new Atlas made its official debut, resembling the CrossBlue concept with its squared-off headlights and wide grill. Now, the automaker offers a special package that will give their SE and SEL variants a slightly sportier look.

The new Atlas has two engine choices: a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 240 PS and a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter VR6 engine generating 283 PS. With the package, Volkswagen offers to send its power to either the front wheels exclusively, or to all four.
