Limited to only 50 units
McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the brand's customizing arm recently revealed the 650S Limited Edition, a one-off variant of the 650S that celebrates 20 years of the McLaren F1 GTR that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
As the car draws inspiration from the Le Mans winning car, it is equipped with a roof snorkel along with small fenders at the front. It has an aerodynamic body kit that consist of carbon fiber splitter, a rear bumper and rear diffuser. Completing the bespoke finish of the 650S Limited Edition is a special dark blue paint exclusive to MSO and a set of orange brake calipers that sit behind forged wheels.
The interior gets a carbon fiber and leather-Alcantara trim upgrade while the steering wheel is also wrapped in Alcantara. The center of the seats and backrest were also covered in Alcantara and both are painted in McLaren Orange. A set of McLaren branded floor mats complete the interior package.
No modifications were done to the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 as it still creates 650 PS and 680 Nm of torque. Its 0 – 100 km/h time also remains the same, 3 seconds, along with its 0 – 200 km/h time of 8.4 seconds.
The McLaren 650S Limited Edition will only be available to 50 units and all will be built as coupes.
